Days 5&6 - Prototyping complete?!


Alright, another good couple of days of work done on this beast.  Here's a quick list of what I added in:

health and kill count HUD, MOAR bullets, moving boss patterns, a health up power up, rapid fire and new player bullet firing rates, invincibility frames, and title/game over screens

Some things I'm thinking of adding if there is enough time left in the gamejam after doing all the pixel art/sound:

2nd loop or more levels, more enemy types (or mutated versions of existing), another gun type

Overall, it's starting to mutate into some weird lumpy form of a game, and I feel pretty ready to start very soon on redesigning snazzier sprites, and making/implementing some audio!  If all goes well I'll have a fun and janky pixel art stream soon.
